Yep, It figures....

In December of 2005, my wife and I decided that we needed to both get back into shape, so we ventured to Dick's Sporting Goods and bought ourselves a middle-of-the-road exercise bike. With our oldest being 4, and baby girl only 2, it would be a great way to get in shape for the bike carrier that we take turns hauling them around in. Great features, cushioning seat, and once I ran the cable to the TV, put my Oklahoma City DVD player in place, good to go.

Fast forward to this morning, where at 58 minutes of my planned 60, the wheels came to a grinding halt. It didn't matter that the TV stations weren't working on two of three sets, nope, it was the fact that I may actually have to venture to the YMCA that almost had me wrapped. My wife took care of the TVs and I got a hold of the company and ordered a new pulley replacement kit and a new seat, this one lost its squishiness. And if your going to spend 25 hours a month pedalling around the basement, you might as well have a happy ass. For the record, the preliminary autopsy on the old belt assembly was that freakishly weird twists caused some major shredding action. I'll have to chalk that up to abnormally high use over the last few months.

There have been no updates on this site since I'm actually on Facebook now. I had to join so that I knew what was going on in the triathlon club. After a month, I have 23 friends, which is probably 23 more than I had originally planned on. If I get ambitious, I'll try to make some changes on this one soon. Or maybe not. I can never be sure.
